Welcome to Mrs. Plonk's Earth Science Class!

Greetings Earthlings!

Welcome to my class, and to my Earth and Environmental Science Blog!

This will be a place for us to meet, share, discuss, and yes- believe it or not- ENJOY science!
I DO NOT like to be bored, so therefore, I certainly don't want YOU to be bored. We will explore many topics, do lots of interactive labs, demonstrations and experiments. We will explore new ways to learn all about the world we live in.

Here are riddles about a few things we will learn:
1. What is neither water nor land, and is always soaking wet?
                                                                              (Wetlands)
2. What kind of tree can you carry in your hand?
                                                                              (A Palm tree)
3. What looks like a star, falls off a tail and burns in the air?
(Dust and gravel from comet tails)
